To create representative workforce we recognise the importance of understanding the social and ethnic mix of our local community.

We continually improve our understanding of the diversity of our local community with help from our analysts and partner organisations such as local universities, councils, One North East, Vision Sense, Equality and Human Rights Commission, MESMAC, Gay Advice Darlington, National Gay Police Association, BECON and housing associations.
