Northumbria Police Subject Access Forms


People have a right of access to personal data held about them and can make an application through the procedure ‘Subject Access’ (Data Protection Act 1998). These are available:

Subject Access forms can be forwarded by post to the above address and must be accompanied by:

  • A copy of an identification document, eg birth certificate, current passport

  • British driving licence – do not send originals, copies will not be returned

There is a £10 application fee. Cheques should be made payable to Northumbria Police through a British Clearing Bank.

A copy of the subject access form is available in two formats. You can print this out and send it to the Information Compliance Unit at the address on the form, along with a copy of your identification and the fee.
