You can provide any type of feedback by visiting www.northumbria.police.uk and following the links from the home page.
Happy with our service
We welcome your letters of appreciation if an officer or member of police staff has done something that deserves praise. You can write to your local Chief Superintendent - you can find out who they are and where they work by visiting www.northumbria.police.uk or by telephoning 101 extension 69191. You can also e mail them directly from the link on the website.
We will make sure the officers or staff involved are made aware of your comments.
Quality of service complaints
The Policing Pledge is a set of minimum standards for the service we provide. We intend to meet those standards but also recognise there may be times when you are not satisfied with the way our services were provided or the way you were treated
If you wish to make a complaint about the quality of the service you have received, you can notify us by:
using the links on our website,
sending a letter or e mail to your local Chief Superintendent
visiting your local police station or
telephoning 101 ext 69191.
Conduct complaints
If you wish to make a complaint about the conduct of a particular police officer or member of police staff, you can do this in a number of ways.
