Northumbria Police have been reviewing our organisational structure to identify areas where we can work more efficiently to improve services and make efficiencies. This review has identified a requirement to reduce police officer and police staff numbers.

In addition, police staff vacancies will only be advertised externally in exceptional circumstances.
