Lotteries/Foreign Lotteries
A letter, phone call, text message or e mail tells you you’ve won a huge sum of money in a lottery, even though you haven’t bought a ticket.
In order to claim your prize, you will usually need to send money to cover ‘processing’ or administration cost. You may also be asked for personal or financial information for ‘identification.’ This is a scam.
The scammers are likely to take your money and you will get nothing in return.
