When you’re drunk, situations can quickly escalate out of control and arguments can easily turn into fights. We want you to enjoy a good night out, so remember: 

  • Learn to recognise the signs that it’s time to slow down.

  • Try alternating between alcoholic and soft drinks.

  • Avoid drinking in rounds – it’s easy to lose control of how much you’ve had to drink when you’re keeping up with others.

  • Walk away from confrontation. One drunken argument could change your life. You could seriously hurt somebody or get arrested, potentially ruining your career, relationship and your self respect!

  • Have fun but don’t let being too drunk ruin it for you!
