What happens after I report a crime?

If you have been a victim of crime you will have received a letter explaining what will happen next.

 

The details you have provided to the police will enable your local neighbourhood policing team to conduct further investigation.

 

While there will usually be no requirement for officers to contact you again, they will do so if they need further information.

If you have any further information about your crime, please contact your neighbourhood policing team on 101 ext 69191 quoting the incident number or the crime reference number provided to you.
