Students shopped in the act at MetroCentre training day

Police shopped local students in the act as part of a practical role-play training day at the MetroCentre in Gateshead
Trainee police officers from Northumbria went on patrol at the MetroCentre where their intensive training was put into action.
The trainee officers, in the tenth week of their course, were given different scenarios throughout the day in different locations around the shopping centre where they were assessed on their practical skills.
