Although we are not currently recruiting police officers at the moment, we do need to fill Special Constabulary officer posts and police staff vacancies regularly.

All new officer recruits are required to successfully complete the Initial Police Learning and Development Programme (IPLDP)

This is a two-year programme of learning and development, to equip officers with the skills and knowledge to perform the demanding role of a police officer.
