Types of crime

There are various types of crime, all of which Northumbria Police are committed to tackling and reducing.

There is also a lot you can do to avoid becoming a victim of crime such as locking your pedal bike when out and about or at home, or keeping your purse or wallet safe. Taking simple precautions can make a real difference.
