Is there an upper age limit?

Dated: 01 May 2012

Although there is no upper age limit for appointment, the compulsory retirement age for a police constable is 60 and new recruits are required to undertake a two year probationary period.  We invest a lot of time and money into your development so we feel it’s important that you have time to put your skills to use.
