We have now had the opportunity to fully consider your request and I provide a response for your attention.
The data was obtained using a number of excel spreadsheets maintained by the Intelligence Unit of Newcastle Area Command from the force system. From the list of streets given, a geographical area was defined, consisting of 3 adjoining footbeats. The databases were cut down to these three beats and those streets not in the desired area were removed manually.
The data recovered from these searches is given below.
| Year | Crimes | ASB |
|---|---|---|
| 2007-08 | 619 | 832 |
| 2008-09 | 796 | 762 |
| 2009-10 | 649 | 654 |
| 2010-date | 477 | 562 |
