Provision of information held by Northumbria Police made under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the 'Act')(FOIA)

Thank you for your email dated 9 September 2011 in which you made a request for access to certain information which may be held by Northumbria Police.

As you may be aware the purpose of the Act is to allow a general right of access to information held by a Public Authority (including the Police), subject to certain limitations and exemptions.

You asked:

What is your total ICT spend per year?

Regarding your current contracts that are for ICT services:

For each contract:

-  Who is the prime contractor?
-  Who are the sub-contractors?
-  What is the contract for (in other words, what is the scope of the contract?)
-  What date did the contract start?
-  What date will the contract end?
-  Is there an extension option at that end date?
-  What is the value of the contract?

What contracts are you currently preparing to let?

Do you have any procurements currently running?  If yes, what are they for and what is the expected contract date?

What procurement frameworks do you use?  (e.g OJEU, Buying Solutions)

We define 'Total Spend' to be all IT expenditure, for a particular year, including staff costs, any recurring costs such as outsource costs, one off costs.  If their figures are broken down already, then it will be fine to have the various components and we can build it up to a total number.
