Provision of information held by Northumbria Police made under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the 'Act')
Thank you for your email dated 15th June 2011 in which you made a request for access to certain information which may be held by Northumbria Police.
As you may be aware the purpose of the Act is to allow a general right of access to information held by a Public Authority (including the Police), subject to certain limitations and exemptions.
You asked:
"I wish to make a Freedom of Information Act request concerning those police officers paid for by your force who are working fulltime for, on on secondment to, the Police Federation whether local or national. Please may I request the following information for each such officer:
Their salary. Please note that I am not requesting personal information and would be prepared to accept a salary band.
The amount of time (in months and years) that the officer has been working fulltime for the Police Federation.
A total of all expenses claimed by the officer for the past financial year."
In response:
We have now had the opportunity to fully consider your request and I provide a response for your attention.
Following receipt of your request, searches were conducted with the HR Department of Northumbria Police. I can confirm that the information you have requested is held, in part, by Northumbria Police.
I have today decided to disclose the located information to you in full as follows.
There are two officers on salary scale - £23,259 - £36,519
There are two officers on salary scale - £36,519 - £41,040
There is one officer on salary scale - £46,788 - £50,7512. 3 yrs, 5 months.

1 yr, 5 monthsNo information held. There have been no expenses claimed by any of the full time representatives during the past financial year.
