Provision of information held by Northumbria Police made under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the 'Act')(FOIA)
Thank you for your email dated 14 March 2012 in which you made a request for access to certain information which may be held by Northumbria Police.
As you may be aware the purpose of the Act is to allow a general right of access to information held by a Public Authority (including the Police), subject to certain limitations and exemptions.
"Further to the below, i have experienced some difficulty in terms of receipt of this information from other forces regarding the amount of time it will take to collate the information. In view of this, if it will make matters easier, i can amend my timeframes to January 2010-December 2010 and January 2011-December 2011 for my questions raised, rather than for the 5 year timeframe originally requested."

Date of offence
Details of the offence, i.e. what were they specifically arrested for or charged with?
Age/age range of the offender
Nationality of the offender
Relationship between offender and victim
Nationality of the victim
Age/age range of the victim
Sex of the victim
Are any women recorded as having more than one conviction for sexual offending?

Following receipt of your request, searches were conducted with the Corporate Development Department of Northumbria Police. I can confirm that the information you have requested is held by Northumbria Police.

Please note this has been presented so as not to attract any exemptions under the Act, and will therefore not be broken down further.
You may be interested to know that Northumbria Police routinely publish information that has been disclosed by Northumbria Police in response to requests made under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 via the Disclosure Log.
