Provision of information held by Northumbria Police made under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the 'Act')

Thank you for your email dated 1 April 2011 in which you made a request for access to certain information which may be held by Northumbria Police.

As you may be aware the purpose of the Act is to allow a general right of access to information held by a Public Authority (including the Police), subject to certain limitations and exemptions. 

You asked:

1. A copy of the current Force Estates Strategy  
 
2. Unless specified already in the Estates Strategy a list of all major construction [projects (say over £200k) planned by the force over the next 4 years with, for each:
-  The nature of the project
-  The estimated project cost
-   When it is planned to go to tender for this work
-  The planned procurement route e.g. design & build / build / PFI etc

3. Any known planned procurements for cell doors windows, grilles etc within the next 4 years including (where possible)
-  The types of product likely to be required
-  The likely timing of any procurments
-  The planned procurement route

In response:

We have now had the opportunity to fully consider your request and I provide a response for your attention.

Following receipt of your request, searches were conducted with the Estates Department of Northumbria Police.  I can confirm that the information you have requested is not held by Northumbria Police.

This information may be held by Northumbria Police Authority.  However, to aid and assist you we have transferred your request to Northumbria Police Authority and they will provide you with a response.
