Appeal for potential witness to come forward

Police are appealing for a potential key witness to come forward in relation to an alleged rape in Wallsend late on Saturday night.
A 36 year-old woman had been socialising in pubs, when she began talking to a man who offered to walk her home.
As they walked down the high street at around 11.35pm, the woman was taken into a back lane near to the Queen's Head pub, where she was pushed to the ground and raped.
A 21 year-old man has been arrested and is helping police with enquiries.
Police have today released a CCTV image of a potential witness who they are keen to speak to.
Detective Inspector Tim Miley, of Northumbria Police's Rape Investigation Team said: "We believe this woman was walking down the back lane at around the time of the incident, and may have vital information.
"I would urge her or anyone else who knows anything about this incident to come forward."
