Wallsend Festival goes down well
Dated: 16 Jul 2010

Neighbourhood officers helped residents and vsitors enjoy all the fun of the Wallsend Festival earlier this month.
The annual event took place on Saturday, July 3, organised by Wallsend Festival Association and supported by other organisations, including North Tyneside Council.
Police were present to meet and talk to members of the community and offer crime prevention advice. Local officers PCs Lisa Turnbull and Steve Dobson were available during the day with Community Support Officers Carl Brydon and Kevin Dale to answer any queries and talk about local policing issues.
Insp Pam Bridges said: "This year's event had a great atmosphere and lots of people came along to stop and talk to officers and pick up some crime prevention advice too.
"The team enjoyed supporting this local event which is in the heart of the community. It was a great opportunity for people to tell us what is happening in their area so that we can continue to work together to reduce crime and disorder.
