Theft from McDonalds

Officers have released a CCTV image in a bid to help solve a theft.

Around 5.15pm on Thursday January 20 a customer at McDonalds on Northumberland Street in Newcastle left his mobile phone on a table while he went to collect his food. When he returned his phone was gone.

The phone was a black and silver HTC Wildfire with a touchscreen.

Police have released an image of a man seen in the area at the time of the offence who officers are keen to speak to as he may have important information.
