Bus windows smashed in Bedlington Station

Police are appealing for information after youths smashed bus windows in Bedlington Station.
At 7:40pm on Monday, October 10, the Arriva X21 service was travelling along Station Road, heading back from Newcastle towards the Ashington area, when a group of youth threw stones at the bus windows.
The youths were stood near to the railway crossing opposite the Railway Tavern when the incident took place.
Two of the windows were smashed. No one on the bus was injured but the driver and a passenger on the bus were left shaken.
Police attended the scene and arrested two youths in connection with the damage. Enquiries to trace others involved are ongoing.
