Electrical items and jewellery stolen in burglary

Police are appealing for information after a burglary in Gateshead.

Between 5.05pm and 7pm on Thursday, February 2, burglars broke into a house in Hallgarth, Leam Lane Estate and stole numerous items including  a Samsung laptop, HTC mobile phone, Apple MP3 player, jewellery, a DKNY watch and a credit card - worth in total almost £3,000.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who has been offered jewellery or any of the missing items for sale cheaply.
 
Also anyone who was in the Leam Lane area between the relevant times and saw any suspicious people or vehicles is asked to contact Northumbria Police on 101 ext 69191 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
