Police are investigating three separate burglaries in the north of Newcastle.
Overnight on Tuesday, January 31 into Wednesday, February 1, separate offences took place at Ryal Walk in Blakelaw, Westbourne Avenue in Gosforth and Northway in Throckley.
At Ryal Walk, the offender got access to the communal area of a block of flats and forced open the door to a flat. A laptop and charger was stolen from the flat.
At Westbourne Avenue the window of a house was smashed and the key on the other side of the door was used to get into the house and jewellery was stolen.
At Northway, a rear door was forced and the keys were stolen from the inside of the door. The offender then made off in the resident's car, a silver Golf.
Police are appealing for witnesses to each offence or anyone with information about who is responsible to get in touch. They are also reminding homeowners to make sure their homes are locked and secure and that nothing valuable, including keys, are left within view or reach of the door.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 ext 69191, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
