Possible sexual offence

Police investigating a possible sexual offence in Sunderland are appealing for witnesses.
The incident happened at 4.10pm yesterday afternoon Monday, February 6, near to the bus waiting room at Park Lane metro station when an 11-year-old boy was approached by a man.
The man is described as approximately 60-years-old, with grey balding hair. He was wearing glasses, a navy coloured top and grey bottoms.
Officers are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time may have seen anyone fitting this description.
Neighbourhood Inspector Craig Briggs, who covers the area, said: "We're aware that incidents like this can cause people to be more fearful and would like to reassure residents that we're carrying out extensive enquiries, including viewing CCTV in the area and extra officers will be in and around the station. If anyone has any information we'd urge them to contact police."
