Metal stolen in burglary

Police are appealing for witnesses following a break-in and theft of metal from a business in Wallsend.
The incident happened at an industrial premises in Metnor Business Park, in Wallsend between noon on Saturday, February 4 and 8am on Monday, February 6.
Thieves forced their way in and stole a large amount of metal. Offices believe that a van or lorry must have been used to transport the heavy material. They stole 23 specialist industrial valves which are approximately three feet tall and weigh around 100lb.
Police are appealing for witnesses anyone who was in the area and who may have seen or heard anything suspicious is asked to contact police. Also, anyone who is offered these items for sale.
