Stolen expensive bicycle

Police are asking for help from the public after an expensive bicycle and other items were stolen from a house in Wallsend.

The specialised Roubaix Elite bike valued at £1,500 was taken along with a Garmin 705 GPS navigation unit worth £200. Also stolen was purple ladies mountain bike and a set of Taylor made golf clubs worth £1,000.

Thieves forced their way into a garage at a house in Wallsend.  The theft was discovered at 11am on Tuesday, February 7, but may have happened in January. Police are appealing for anyone who may be offered this distinctive and expensive bike for sale to contact police.

Police are appealing for witnesses anyone who was in the area and who may have seen or heard anything suspicious is asked to contact police.
