Appeal after burglary

Police are investigating a report of a burglary in Newcastle.

It happened at about 9.05pm on Wednesday, February 8, when witnesses saw two men force entry to a house at Adelaide Terrace in Elswick by kicking the door.

They were inside for a very short time before leaving. At this stage it's not believed anything was stolen. No-one was inside the house at the time.

Both men are said to be about 5ft 10ins tall of medium build, one was wearing a light coloured hooded top with black tracksuit bottoms with white stripes down the sides, dark trainers, while the other wore a black hooded top, black tracksuit bottoms and dark trainers.
