Damage to library

Police are appealing for witnesses after damage to a Newcastle library.

It happened between 5pm on Friday, February 10, and 9am on Saturday, February 11, when offenders threw concrete or a stone through two windows of the library at Fenham Hall Drive in Fenham.

It was reported to police on Monday morning.

It follows an attempted break-in at the library which took place between 5.30pm on Wednesday, February 8 and 7.30am on Thursday, February 9, when windows were smashed. The offenders didn't get in but caused damage to the building.
