Arrests following disturbance at address

Four people have been arrested following a disturbance at an address in Jarrow.

At approximately 8.15pm, on Thursday, February 16, police received a call from the ambulance service about a disturbance at an address on Inverness Road.

Officers attended the scene where a 23-year-old man was discovered suffering from a suspected broken jaw and suspected fractured eye socket. He was taken to South Tyneside Hospital for treatment.

Four men aged in their early 20s have been arrested on suspicion of assault and are currently assisting police with their enquiries.
