Bikes stolen in garage burglary

Police are appealing for witnesses after two bikes were stolen from a garage in Gateshead.

A Specialized mountain bike, worth around £600 and a Tesco bike worth £80 were taken between 4pm on Saturday, February 18 and 9.30am on Sunday, February 19, from a garage in Klondyke Walk, Blaydon.

Acting Detective Insp Craig Metcalfe of Gateshead Area Command, said: "We are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen what happened or who is approached by anyone trying to sell these bikes.
