Quad stolen in Wooperton

Police are appealing for information after a quad bike was stolen from a farm in north Northumberland.

At 11:07pm on Monday, February 20, police received a report that a red Yamaha quad bike had been stolen from outbuildings on a farm near Wooperton.

The quad's licence plate is SK09 ARZ.

Enquiries are ongoing into the theft but police believe there may have been a white Ford Transit style van in the area yesterday and are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen the vehicle or anyone acting suspiciously.

Officers are reminding people to lock and secure their cars, tractors and quad bikes when leaving them unattended.
