Appeal after collision in Blyth

Police are appealing for information after an incident in Blyth.

At 6:07am this morning, Thursday February 23, police received a report of a collision in Hodgeson Road, Blyth.

Paramedics attended the scene and a man was taken to Wansbeck hospital with minor injuries.

Officers believe there was an altercation before the collision happened and are carrying out enquiries.

Two men, aged 22 and 25, have been arrested on suspicion of assault.
