Items stolen in separate incidents in same street

Police are appealing for information after goods were stolen from a shed and driveway in Gateshead.

The shed burglary happened between 6pm on Wednesday, February 22, and 10.20am on Thursday, February 23.

Thieves gained entry to the shed in the garden of a house on Peacock Court, Norwood, before making off with a bike and garden tools. They also stole the property's gas meter and scrap metal from the driveway.

In a second incident on the same street, thieves stole an Ikea garden chair and a radiator from the property's driveway. It happened between 6pm on Wednesday, February 22, and 10am the following day.

Officers are carrying out enquiries into both incidents, which they believe are connected.

Anyone spotting people or vehicles acting suspiciously in their street should contact Police immediately.
