Stolen bicycle

Police are appealing for witnesses to the theft of a bicycle which was left outside a shop in Killingworth.

The incident happened on Friday, February 3, between 1.45pm and 2.15pm outside Matalan carpark, on Citadel East.  The cycle was securely locked to metal railings at the side of the car park. 

When the owner returned after shopping they found the bike and lock had been stolen. The cycle a Revolution brand (Cullin Sport model), black colour with a red star on the main frame, disc brakes and 24 gears. The value when new is £375.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen someone steal the bike or for anyone who is offered this bike for sale to contact police.
