Two arrested after disturbance in Blyth

Two men have been arrested after a disturbance in Blyth.

At 7:30pm on Sunday, February 26, police received a report of a disturbance in Edward Street.

Officers attended and arrested two men, both aged 37, on suspicion of affray.

Two different men were taken to Wansbeck hospital with injuries consistent with dog bites.

Officers have seized three dogs and enquiries are ongoing into the incident.
