Man injured in nightclub assault

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted at a South Shields nightclub.
At around 2am this morning, Sunday, April 15, police received a report from the ambulance service of a man with facial injuries at Roxanne's night club in South Shields.
He was taken to hospital where he received treatment for a fractured jaw.
Anyone who may been in the club at the time or witnessed this incident is asked to contact police on 101 ext 69191 or independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
