Jewellery taken in Morpeth burglary

Police are appealing for information after a burglary in Morpeth.

Between 10am Friday, April 20, and Sunday, April 22, burglars broke into a house in Queensway.

They stole jewellery and electrical items before making off.

Amongst the jewellery taken were a platinum and diamond engagement ring, a silver emerald set ring, a gold necklace and a gold bracelet. A number of other rings and necklaces were also stolen.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen any suspicious vehicles or people in the Queensway area over the weekend, or anyone with any information as to the whereabouts of the jewellery, to contact them with any information on 101 ext 69191.
