Wallet stolen in robbery

Police are investigating a report of a robbery in Newcastle.
It happened at about 9.30pm on Wednesday, May 23, in the car park of Asda at Byker Retail Park in Byker, when a 21-year-old man was approached by two men.
One demanded cash and then punched the victim and he handed over his wallet to the pair.
One of the suspects is described as white, aged between 20 and 25 years old of medium build, with very short dark hair. He had large tattoos on the back and sides of his neck and both forearms. He was wearing brown/red shorts and t-shirt.
The second suspect is said to be white, shorter than the first, aged in his mid 20s and wearing shorts and a t-shirt. They ran off in the direction of Walker after the robbery.
