Images released after assault

[View Full Size]Police are releasing images of two men they want to speak to in connection with a Newcastle assault.
It follows an assault on an 18-year-old man around 12.20am on Monday, May 27, outside Idols nightclub. The man was hit in the face by another man causing him to fall to the ground, suffering facial injuries.
Following enquiries officers are now releasing two images of two men they want to speak to in connection with the enquiry.
DC Jon Lloyd, who is investigating the incident, said: "We want to identify and speak to these two men as they may be able to help us with our enquiries. We have images of three young women who we know these men were with in Idols the night the assault happened. I'd ask them to get in touch with us as soon as they can."
Officers may consider releasing images of the women at a future date if they are unable to identify the men.
