Man robbed in Jesmond

Police are appealing for witnesses after a robbery in Newcastle.

It happened at 5.30pm on Friday, July 27, when a 23-year-old man was in Jesmond Dene Road, Jesmond, when he was approached by three men who demanded he hand over his property.

They threatened to assault him and stole a watch and MP3 player before running off from the scene. The victim wasn't injured in the incident.

All three are described as being aged between 25 and 27 years old, all white, all about 6ft tall of medium build. The first had short fair hair in a scruffy style, wearing a dark vest, dark jeans, and a dark top wrapped around his waist. The other two both wore dark clothing.
