Benefit claimant must repay cash, Gateshead

A man who claimed a range of benefits while living in Tenerife has been sent to prison and made subject to a confiscation order. Robert Webber, 67, formerly of Barmston Court, Washington, admitted four offences of failing to disclose information in relation to £69,000 worth of benefits and one offence of money laundering.
