Crime prevention over a cuppa in Cramlington
Dated: 05 Feb 2010
Residents in Cramlington are invited to come and have a "cuppa with a coppa" and receive crime prevention advice at an event in the town.
It will be held on Thursday, February 11, between 10.30am - 2.30pm at the Sainsburys Cafe in Manor Walks, Cramlington.
People are invited to come along and meet officers from their local policing team, have a free "cuppa with a coppa" and speak with police about crime prevention advice and any other issues they want to discuss.
Northumberland crime prevention advisor Del Graham said: "This event will allow local people to pop in and meet their Neighbourhood Policing Team face to face and give them the opportunity to raise concerns about their local area.
"It's the second of the "Cuppa with a Coppa" days we've held in recent weeks after the success of the first one in Ashington.
"We're looking forward to meeting the residents of Cramlington and helping them by offering free crime prevention advice and providing the opportunity to speak with a local Police officer to discuss issues that are important to them".
