Man dies afer collision in Northumberland

A man has died a week after a collision in Northumberland.
At 6:50pm on Friday, July 20, a collision took place on the A69 eastbound at the junction for Upper Denton in Hexham.
For reasons yet to be established a silver Toyota Land Cruiser collided with a silver Mazda 6 which was travelling east approaching the junction for Upper Denton.
The driver of the Toyota Landcruiser, a 66-year-old Cumbria man, who was taken to Cumberland Infirmary has now died.
The Mazda was driven by a 33-year-old man who suffered minor injuries.
Officers are continuing to appeal for witnesses to the crash and anyone with any information is asked to contact them on 101 ext 69191.
