Hundreds of tyres stolen in burglary

Police are investigating after thousands of pounds worth of tyres were stolen in a Newcastle burglary.
It happened overnight between 6pm on Monday, July 30 and 9.30am on Tuesday, July 31, at Kwick Tyres, Bentinck Road, when thieves broke in and stole 400 tyres, worth thousands of pounds.
It's believed the burglary will have taken some time and will have required one or more vehicles - probably vans.
Police are appealing for anyone who saw tyres being moved from the site, any witnesses to the break-in or anyone who saw suspicious activity to get in touch.
They are also urging anyone who knows the whereabouts of the 400 tyres, or anyone who is offered tyres for sale under suspicious circumstances, to contact them as soon as possible.
