Woman assaulted in Bedlington pub

Police are appealing for information after an assault in a Bedlington pub.
Between 10:30pm Friday, July 13, and 12:40am Saturday, July 14, a 19-year-old woman was approached by a woman and assaulted in the Blue Bell pub in Front Street West.
The victim suffered bruising to her face.
Police believe the assault could be connected to an altercation that happened outside of the Grapes pub earlier that evening.
Officers want to speak to anyone who was in the pub the night of the assault and who witnessed the incident, or anyone with any information, to contact them on 101 ext 69191.
