Arrests after man found with injuries

Two people have been arrested after police discovered a man with injuries in Newcastle.
At just after 1.20am, on Sunday, August 19, officers on patrol found a 25-year-old man suffering from a head injury at Pudding Chare.
He was taken by ambulance to the RVI for treatment to a fractured skull where he remains. However, his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
Two men, aged 28 and 29, have been arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
They are currently being interviewed by police.
