Northumbria Police is investigating damage to a number of vehicles parked in a multistorey car park in Newcastle.
Overnight between Sunday April 1 and Monday April 2, a number of vehicles - an exact number is yet to be determined - had windows broken at the multistorey car park on Forth Banks.
A police investigation is underway.
Neighbourhood Sergeant Lesley Wheatley said: "Whoever is responsible for these offences has caused thousands of pounds worth of damage.
"We are speaking to residents in the area and studying CCTV footage from around the time of the offences.
"Officers from the neighbourhood team have increased patrols in the area and anyone who has any information is asked to contact us."
