Robbery at off licence

Police are appealing for information after an armed robbery at an off licence in Sunderland.
At 10:05pm on Sunday, April 22, police received a report a man, whose face was masked, went into the Simply Food and Drink store in Newcastle Road, Sunderland, and threatened staff with what is described looking like a handgun. The handgun was not discharged.
