Ashington Judo Club has four new ‘members’ thanks to the Northumbria Police Charities Fund.

The Fund donated two junior and two adult training dummies which can be used by members during their training sessions.

Northumberland Area Command Charities Trustee Sarah Dodds said: "Ashington Judo Club is attended by mixed ages and abilities and we are delighted we were able to help out by donating this equipment."

Wayne Broderick, who runs the club, said: "A massive thank you to the Northumbria Police Charities Fund for this equipment, which will be well used by all members of the Club."
