Two arrested after aggravated burglary

Two teenagers have been arrested after an incident at a house in South Tyneside.
At 11.36pm on Saturday, June 23, police received a report that youths were at the door of a house at South Frederick Street in South Shields. They tried to force their way in to the house.
Officers attended and a male aged 17 and another aged 16 were arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary. They are currently in custody.
The occupants of the house, a young man and woman, were not injured.
