Man robbed in Gateshead

Police are appealing for witnesses after a robbery in Gateshead.
Police received a report of a man being robbed on Wellington Street on Sunday, July 1.
Between 2.30am and 3am the 25 year-old victim was walking from the High Level Bridge where he has been approached by three men. One man kicked the victim in the stomach and the other men wrapped his hands. They have taken belongings including money and a phone.
The man was left in pain and shaken by the incident.
